Phosphorus
The phosphorus in pig manure makes it costly to dispose of the manure. The reason for this is that it requires the disposal of many cubic meters to meet current processing criteria. By separating your pig manure it is possible to create a solid part with a phosphorus level three times higher than usual. Therefore you have to dispose of much less cubic meters, which decreases disposal costs.
Cost effectively disposal of manure
By separating manure it is possible to make great savings on manure disposal costs. Below are the possibilities to decrease disposal costs:
+ By separating the manure it is possible to spread more manure on your own property. The phosphorus grade of one kilogram of manure in liquid part can be halved. This makes it that twice the amount of manure can be spread per hectare: For instance 47,5 cubic meters instead of 23,7 per hectare. Therefore less of the liquid part has to be disposed of because the owned hectares can be used more efficiently.
Distinguishing machine
The Drybed and the Agri XL manure separators of Keydollar are unique machines that even offer the possibility to separate pig manure for extended periods of time. This is made possible by the patented synthetic layer on the jack screw. This layer seals the jack screw, which makes it that the thin pig manure is not able to slip past the screw. Hereby the thin manure is pressed through the sieve under pressure and makes it so that the solid part remains to be worked out of the machine by the screw.
Processing installations
A big advantage of the liquid part derived from pig manure is that it can be easily processed in a biological air scrubber. In this machine the liquid part is evaporated and the minerals that are not evaporated stay behind. Thereby a mineral concentrate is created that can be used as a fertiliser. The solid part can be easily processed; this is even possible at a company level. This way, a pig farmer can clean his manure with the use of a hygienisation container. By processing the manure locally the farmer can export his manure himself; therefore there is no need for an intermediary.
