Dispose slurry cost effectively

Dispose slurry cost effectively with a manure separator!

Keydollar manure separators are the ideal machine to efficiently dispose of manure.

Phosphorus

The Keydollar manure separator is the best machine to extract phosphorus from your slurry. Thanks to the synthetic layer on the jack screw, all solid particles are retained. These solid particles of the manure contain the  phosphorus. Hereby a high grade of  phosphorus is attained in the solid part. When you have to dispose manure based on the amount of  phosphorus, it is therefore possible to save a great deal of disposal costs. Another great advantage is that you are able to store more manure on your own property because the  phosphorus grade of the liquid part is only half that of unworked (unseparated) manure.

Cost effective disposal of manure

Transport costs can be saved if only the solid fraction is transported instead of standard slurry. The solid fraction is richer in terms of nutrients, so that the same amount of nutrients can be transported to the manure processor in fewer trucks. The solid fraction can also be sold via export in a simplified way, albeit with an intermediate step.

Save on fertilizer

By separating slurry into its solid and liquid parts you effectively create two types of manure.

– Solid part:
A  phosphorus rich product which can be used as solid manure.

– Liquid part:
A liquid nitrogen rich product which is easily manageable when mixed or spread.

By separating manure into two types you can use your nutrients intelligently. Solid part can also be spread outside of the fertilization season, while the liquid part is much richer in nitrogen. With adequate planning, less chemical fertilizer will have to be purchased. This fits neatly into the recycle mind-set.

Easier mixing

Because the solid part is separated from the liquid part you will build up a large stockpile of liquid part over time. Liquid part is usually stored separately and is easy to mix and spread. Clogging never occurs and a possible contractor hardly has to add water during spreading by tow hoses.

Larger storage capacity

Because you can regard the solid part product as solid manure you gain a lot of storage capacity in your manure cellar. The solid part can be stored on the manure heap or in a temporary manure heap in the field.
